This new style pushed the painting beyond the usual flat surface of the canvas and brought every artwork to life in a way that reminds one of M. Hakim's sculptures.
This technique allowed Maroun Hakim to experiment in a raw manner with textures, surfaces and their transformation as he fused the with colors to form a new visual reality tackling abstract subjects.
