After 4 years of absence from the local Art scene, Maroun
Hakim presents a new exhibition of paintings and
sculptures entitled: "A Salute to my Country", at Art on
56th gallery in Gemmayzeh, Beirut.
In this text, Maroun Hakim tries to present the importance
of color in his body of work especially since he is a painter
and a sculptor. This text was part of the literary
compilation "Rearview Mirrors" (المرايا الخلفية), published by
the artist in 2013.
